Brief History of BSOF
Barr.Sam.Otoboeze Foundation, which began in 1989 as Barr. Sam Otoboeze’s personal pet charity project and officially registered in 2010, is focused on youths’ development and empowerment through education, technical skills development, job opportunity links through social networking, talent hunt etc. The foundation is particularly interested in serving as God’s instrument to touch the lives of the needy within and outside the Foundation’s environment. The foundation was formed by a group of individuals from within and outside Enugu State of Nigeria, whose hopes in life were restored through Barr. Sam Otoboeze’s support, as a platform to touch the lives of other less privileged ones, and for immortalizing the vision of Barr. Sam Otoboeze.
Barr. Samuel Chigozie Otoboeze, a native of Ochima in lgbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State is a lawyer and a security professional. A Certified Protection Professional (CPP), the highest certificate in security that is awarded in the world today. He works with a reputable corporate organization in the country and derives a lot of joy in his security job. But he also radiates great passion towards uplifting the under privileged members of the society which he pursues through the activities of the Foundation.
To improve security, safety and peace in our environment by empowering the needy, especially women, children and youths, through skill aquizition training, scholarship awards, grants and provision of social amenities. And to serve as Gods instrument to touch lives of the needy within and outside our environment
